Yeah, I've seen it both ways over the years. My last insurer didn't automatically cover my spouse—I had to specifically add her. Probably just varies by company. And good call on the side hustle thing...insurance companies love their sneaky fine print.

Yeah, I've noticed insurers can be pretty particular about classic cars too—like limiting mileage or excluding coverage if you're driving to work regularly. Definitely pays to comb through the fine print carefully... learned that one the hard way myself.

Yeah, classic car policies can definitely be tricky. I once almost signed up for a policy that seemed perfect—until I noticed the tiny clause limiting mileage to 2,500 miles per year. That's barely enough for weekend joyrides, let alone the occasional road trip or car meet. Ended up going with a slightly pricier option that allowed more flexibility, and honestly, the peace of mind was worth the extra cost.

Another sneaky exclusion I stumbled across was related to storage conditions. One insurer required my car to be garaged overnight at all times—no exceptions. Sounds reasonable until you realize that means no overnight stays at hotels or friends' places without risking coverage denial if something happens. It's easy to overlook details like that when you're focused on price comparisons.

Definitely agree about combing through the fine print carefully... insurers know exactly where to hide those little surprises.

Good catch on the garage clause—I almost missed that one myself when renewing last year. It's easy to get caught up in price comparisons, but those little details can really bite you later... Glad you spotted it in time.

True, but honestly, sometimes those exclusions aren't deal-breakers. I've had the garage clause excluded for years—street parking only—and never had an issue. Just depends on your situation and risk tolerance...
