That's a solid perspective. I'm currently shopping around for my first insurance policy, and accident forgiveness initially sounded appealing. But after reading your take, I realize it might subtly affect driving habits—something I hadn't considered before. Investing in safety measures like better tires or upgraded brakes seems more proactive. Thanks for pointing that out... definitely helps clarify my decision-making process.

Honestly, I was in the same boat when I renewed mine last year—accident forgiveness sounded tempting, but then I remembered how paranoid I already am about potholes and deer crossings around here. 😂 Decided to spend the extra cash on better headlights and tires instead. But now you got me thinking...does anyone actually drive differently because they know they've got accident forgiveness? Like subconsciously maybe? Curious if that's a common thing or just overthinking it...

I mean, I don't think anyone consciously thinks "hey, I've got accident forgiveness, let's hit some potholes!" 😂 But subconsciously...maybe? I know when I got mine, I didn't exactly turn into Vin Diesel overnight, but I did catch myself being a bit less stressed about minor stuff. Still, better tires and headlights sound like a smarter investment around here—Ohio deer have zero chill.

Yeah, accident forgiveness definitely takes the edge off a bit. I mean, I didn't exactly start Tokyo drifting through Columbus traffic either, but knowing one slip-up won't wreck my rates does help me chill a little. Still, you're right—those deer are basically playing Frogger out here. Upgrading headlights was honestly the best move I've made in years...saved me from a few close calls already.

Tell me about it... had a client last fall who swerved to dodge one of those furry daredevils and ended up clipping a mailbox instead. Accident forgiveness saved him from a nasty rate hike. Definitely worth it around here, IMO.
