"Makes me wonder though, is accident forgiveness more beneficial for certain types of drivers or vehicles?"

That's exactly what I'm trying to figure out myself. As a first-time insurance buyer, it feels safer to have it...but paying extra for something I might never use makes me hesitate. Tough call.

Honestly, accident forgiveness sounds reassuring, but it might not always be the best move. A friend of mine had it, paid extra for years, and never needed it—felt like wasted money in hindsight. Maybe instead of paying for accident forgiveness, consider putting that extra cash toward a defensive driving course or something similar? Could actually lower your premiums overall and help you avoid accidents altogether...just another angle to think about.

I see your point, but accident forgiveness can still be valuable depending on your situation. If you regularly take long road trips (like I do), the odds of an accident might increase slightly—especially in unfamiliar areas. It's more about personal comfort level and driving habits, really...

Haha, can confirm. Last summer, I was cruising through rural Ohio, GPS decided to take a "shortcut," and suddenly I'm on some gravel road that looked straight out of a horror movie. Accident forgiveness crossed my mind real quick when a deer jumped out and nearly gave me a heart attack. Didn't hit it, thankfully, but moments like that make you reconsider your insurance choices...

Yeah, rural Ohio roads can definitely throw some curveballs. Had a similar experience near Athens—GPS took me down this narrow, winding road at dusk, and visibility was terrible. Accident forgiveness is one of those things you hope you'll never need, but honestly, it's reassuring to have. Even if you're careful, you can't control wildlife or other drivers. For peace of mind alone, I'd say it's worth considering, especially if you're frequently exploring unfamiliar territory.
