My rule is if someone borrows my car, they better be on my insurance, or it’s a hard no.
I totally get where you’re coming from—especially with classic cars, I’m super cautious. But here’s what I’ve wondered: if you let a friend drive your car in an emergency (like, say, they need to take you to the hospital), does that count as “permissive use” or is it treated differently? Also, does anyone know if liability limits change when someone else is driving? The language in these policies is just so vague sometimes...
