Honestly, I get the logic, but I’m not convinced paper copies are always necessary.
True, but my phone’s always charged and I back up docs to the cloud. If I lose my wallet, that’s way more hassle than a dead phone. Plus, my state lets you show digital insurance now. I’d rather risk a dead phone than keep track of more paper. Maybe I’ll regret it one day, but so far, no issues.Tech’s great, but paper doesn’t run out of battery.
I totally get the convenience of digital, and I’m all for less clutter. But after getting stuck in a tiny town with zero cell service (and a cop who wasn’t buying my “it’s on my phone” line), I started keeping a paper copy in the glove box—just in case. Doesn’t take up much room, and it’s saved me a headache or two. Guess it’s like carrying a spare tire… you hope you never need it, but when you do, you’re glad it’s there.
