Yeah, I feel that. Last time I called, I was stuck on hold so long I started memorizing the hold music. By the time someone picked up, I’d forgotten why I called in the first place. Honestly, for the price, I kinda expect a little less “press 1 for disappointment.” Maybe I’ll just keep a bike in my trunk as backup...

I get where you’re coming from. The hold times are brutal lately. Here’s what’s worked for me: if you need roadside help, use their app instead of calling. It’s way faster—just tap in your info and they send updates. Also, if you’re stuck waiting, jot down your reason for calling before you dial (learned that one the hard way after a 40-minute hold). Not perfect, but it beats memorizing the hold music...

- Totally agree about the hold music—my kids know it by heart now.
- The app’s decent, but last time it glitched and I had to call anyway.
- Honestly, for what we pay, I kinda expect less hassle.
- Keeping a bike in the trunk doesn’t sound so crazy these days...

Honestly, I’ve thought about this too. The last time I was stranded waiting for a tow, I started calculating how much time (and gas) I’d save just pedaling home. The app’s hit or miss for me—sometimes it works, sometimes it’s just spinning forever. For what we’re paying, you’d think they’d have this stuff figured out by now. Still, I guess it beats being totally on your own, but man, the hassle is real.

Yeah, I totally get where you’re coming from. The last time I called for a jump, I waited almost two hours in a grocery store parking lot, just hoping my phone battery would last. I’ve noticed the app’s pretty inconsistent too—sometimes it’s a lifesaver, other times it just makes me more anxious watching that little spinning circle.

Honestly, I kind of miss when you could just call and talk to an actual person right away, instead of getting bounced around or stuck on hold. That said, I do still carry some basics in my trunk—jumper cables, flashlight, first-aid kit, even some water. Haven’t gone as far as a bike yet, but I’m not ruling it out…

It’s weird, you’d think with all the tech upgrades things would be smoother, but it feels like the service actually got slower in some ways. Maybe it’s just more people using it these days? Either way, I agree, for what we pay, it’s not unreasonable to expect a bit more reliability.
