That’s actually super helpful advice. I’ve heard horror stories about people getting stuck with cheap aftermarket parts and not realizing it until it’s too late. Standing your ground makes a difference, even if it’s a pain. I get why people get tired of fighting, though—insurance companies really bank on folks just giving up. Props for sticking it out and getting what you paid for.

Yeah, I hear you. It’s exhausting having to push back every time, but you’re right—if you don’t, they’ll just take the easy route. I’ve had to argue over parts before too... not fun, but worth it in the end.

Honestly, I’m starting to think arguing with AAA is just part of the “adventure” now. Last time my car broke down, I swear I spent more time on the phone than on the side of the road. Anyone else feel like they used to just handle stuff, no drama? Now it’s like you need a negotiation degree to get a tow or the right part. Maybe it’s just me, but I miss when things were simpler... or maybe I’m just getting old.

- Totally get what you mean.
- Last time I called AAA, I had to repeat my info three times and still ended up waiting over an hour.
- Used to feel more straightforward... maybe it’s just busier now?
- Hang in there, you’re not the only one frustrated.

Yeah, I hear you. Last time I had to use their roadside service, it took forever just to get a real person on the line. Used to be you’d call and they’d know your info right away—now it’s like starting over every time. Honestly, for what we pay, it’s tough to justify the hassle lately. Makes me wonder if switching to something more bare-bones would be smarter, since the “premium” experience isn’t really there anymore...
