aaa insurance premiums - are they really worth the extra bucks?
Just stumbled across something interesting - apparently AAA charges a bit more for their premium plans compared to some other insurers, but folks still swear by them. Kinda makes me wonder if the perks justify paying extra... thoughts?

I've looked into AAA before, and honestly, the perks didn't seem worth the extra cash for me. If you're budget-conscious like I am, you might find better value elsewhere. For instance, my current insurer offers roadside assistance as an add-on for way less than AAA's premium plan. I've used it twice already - flat tire and dead battery - and had no issues. So unless you're traveling a ton or really need those hotel discounts, you might wanna shop around a bit more...

Fair point, but keep in mind not all roadside assistance is created equal. Had a client once whose cheaper add-on left him stranded for hours... sometimes paying a bit extra can save headaches later.
