I’ve noticed the same thing—once you try to unbundle, the “discount” just vanishes and your rates creep up. It’s frustrating, especially when you’re trying to be strategic about your coverage. I ran the numbers last year and honestly, the savings weren’t as big as they made it sound. Maybe it’s a little peace of mind, but I agree, it feels more like a marketing tactic than a real deal sometimes.
Yeah, I’ve run into this too. The “bundle and save” pitch sounds great until you actually do the math. Sometimes the combined rate is barely better—or even worse—than separate policies. I can’t help but wonder if it’s just a convenience fee disguised as a deal.
