Had a minor fender bender last month, nothing serious but still annoying, you know how it is. Anyway, learned a neat trick when dealing with Progressive. If you use their app to upload photos right away and jot down a quick note about exactly what happened while it's fresh in your mind, the whole process moves way faster. Saved me a ton of back-and-forth hassle. Curious if anyone else has little hacks or shortcuts they've figured out for insurance stuff?

That's a solid tipβI had something similar happen on a road trip last summer, and yeah, dealing with insurance can be a headache. One thing I've found helpful is keeping a folder in my glovebox with copies of all my important docs (insurance card, registration, etc.) plus a quick checklist of what info to get if there's an accident. Just helps me stay calm and organized... Anyone have tips for staying cool-headed during these stressful moments?

That's smart thinking right there. I do something similar, but since I'm usually driving my old '68 Mustang, I also keep a disposable camera in the glovebox. Sounds old-school, I know, but hear me outβphones die or get damaged, and having physical photos can save your bacon when dealing with insurance. Plus, it's cheap peace of mind...and kinda fits the vintage vibe.
Good call on the disposable cameraβnever thought of that. I just keep a cheap portable charger in the glovebox instead. Phones always seem to die at the worst times... Murphy's law, right? Might grab a camera too though, can't hurt.
Yeah, disposable cameras are smart, but honestly the charger thing works fine for me. Curious though, has anyone noticed if Progressive's app speeds things up more than other insurers' apps, or is it pretty much the same across the board?
