I swear, it's always the second day that's worse after any kind of accident. I waited mine out with some ice packs and ibuprofenβ€”figured if I could still complain about it, I'd probably survive, haha. Did your insurance hassle you about getting checked out later though?

Haha, that's pretty much my logic too. Insurance gave me some side-eye for waiting a couple days, but nothing major. As long as you document stuff clearly, seems like they're usually chill about it. Hang in there...

Insurance might seem chill now, but trust me, they're only chill until they're not. Seen plenty of cases where a casual delay turned into a headache laterβ€”just keep your docs handy and stay skeptical...better safe than sorry, ya know?

Yeah, learned that lesson the hard way myself. Had a minor fender-bender a couple years backβ€”seemed straightforward, no injuries, just swapped info and moved on. But then the other driver started claiming medical issues weeks later... suddenly my "chill" insurance turned into a paperwork nightmare. Definitely agree about keeping docs handy and staying cautious. Insurance is fine until it isn't, you know?

Yeah, totally get that. Had a buddy who restored a '68 Mustangβ€”beautiful car, but he skimped on coverage thinking he'd never drive it much. One Sunday cruise later, someone rear-ended him at a stoplight. Seemed minor at first, but hidden frame damage turned into a nightmare. Learned from him to always document everything and never underestimate how quickly things can escalate... insurance is one of those things you hope you never need, but you're glad it's there when you do.
