Progressive definitely has a longer memory than Geico in my experience. Got flagged for "aggressive braking" once (I swear, it was just a squirrel!) and Snapshot haunted me for months. Geico, on the other hand, seems more chill about occasional mishaps—like they get that we're human and sometimes roads are just too tempting. If you're prone to spontaneous adventures and the occasional ticket, I'd stick with Geico... Snapshot's judgmental glare isn't worth the stress, lol.

Totally feel you on Snapshot being overly sensitive. When I was learning to drive, my dad put it in our car, and man, it felt like having a backseat driver silently judging every tiny mistake. Geico definitely seems more forgiving about small slip-ups—had a minor fender bender (parking lot pole came out of nowhere, I swear...) and they didn't rake me over the coals for it. For someone still getting comfortable behind the wheel, Geico's chill attitude is a big relief.

Yeah, Snapshot can be a bit much sometimes... I tried it for a few months and felt like it penalized me even for safe braking. Geico's system seems more balanced—still rewards careful driving without making you paranoid about normal driving habits. Definitely easier on the nerves.

Yeah, agreed. Snapshot drove me nuts when I tried it last year. Felt like every time I braked normally at a yellow light, it dinged me for "hard braking." Honestly, if you're driving a luxury car, the last thing you want is some app making you second-guess your instincts on the road. Geico's DriveEasy has been way less intrusive for me—still tracks your driving but doesn't punish you for everyday stuff. Plus, Progressive's rates in NY weren't even that competitive when I checked recently. I'd say go with Geico if you value peace of mind and don't want to feel micromanaged every time you're behind the wheel...

Yeah, Snapshot was a headache for me too. Had it for about three months and found myself hesitating at intersections because I didn't want another "hard brake" ding. Not exactly safe when you're second-guessing split-second decisions... Geico's DriveEasy hasn't given me that anxiety, but I'm curious—anyone notice if these tracking apps actually improved their driving habits long-term, or is it mostly just temporary paranoia?
