Liability Coverage in Maryland—Anyone Else Find It Confusing?

I recently had to renew my auto insurance policy here in Maryland, and man, the liability coverage stuff threw me for a loop. I mean, I get the basics—covering injuries and damages if you're at fault—but the numbers and minimums and all that fine print... yeesh. I ended up using one of those online comparison tools (you know the ones with the catchy jingles stuck in your head forever). It helped a bit, but honestly, I still feel like I'm guessing half the time. One thing I noticed is Maryland's minimum required coverage seems kinda low compared to what some agents recommend. Made me wonder if I'm overpaying by going above the minimum or if it's actually smart to have more protection. Anyone else feel like they're just winging it with their liability coverage? Curious if other folks around here stick with the bare minimum or opt for something higher.
