Just went through the whole process of getting insurance coverage that my lender insisted on, and man, it was a bit of a headache. Basically, you gotta first check exactly what your lender wants (they're picky, trust me), then shop around online or call up agents to compare quotes. After picking one, you send proof to your lender and wait for approval. Sounds simple but took me forever...anyone got tricks to make this less annoying or quicker?
