So I've been shopping around for new car insurance lately, and man, it's like my driving history is this ghost that just won't leave me alone. I had a couple speeding tickets a few years backβ€”nothing crazy, just your typical "running late to work" kinda stuffβ€”and one minor fender bender that wasn't even really my fault (but try telling that to the insurance company, right?). Anyway, I figured after a few years of clean driving they'd cut me some slack.

Turns out, nope. My quotes are still way higher than my brother's, and he's had zero incidents ever. I mean, I get it... sorta. But how long does this stuff stick around? Feels like I'm being punished forever for a couple dumb mistakes from ages ago.

Curious if anyone else has noticed this too or if maybe I'm just unlucky with the companies I've checked out so far.
