So I've been shopping around for new car insurance lately, and man, it's like my driving history is this ghost that just won't leave me alone. I had a couple speeding tickets a few years backβnothing crazy, just your typical "running late to work" kinda stuffβand one minor fender bender that wasn't even really my fault (but try telling that to the insurance company, right?). Anyway, I figured after a few years of clean driving they'd cut me some slack.
Turns out, nope. My quotes are still way higher than my brother's, and he's had zero incidents ever. I mean, I get it... sorta. But how long does this stuff stick around? Feels like I'm being punished forever for a couple dumb mistakes from ages ago.
Curious if anyone else has noticed this too or if maybe I'm just unlucky with the companies I've checked out so far.
