Totally get that uneasy feeling—been there myself. Although to be honest, if there's genuinely zero damage, I probably wouldn't stress too much...life's complicated enough. Curious though, anyone ever had someone leave a note for something ridiculously minor?

Honestly, even if there's no visible damage, I'd still snap a quick photo or two and jot down the details. Better safe than sorry—sometimes issues pop up later, and having proof can save you headaches down the line...

Yep, totally agree with snapping a quick pic. Had a similar thing happen to me once—no visible marks, so I figured I was good. Then two weeks later, the other driver claimed their bumper was loose and tried to pin it on me. Luckily, I'd taken a photo showing zero damage. Saved me from a real headache (and wallet-ache), lol.

Yeah, snapping a quick photo is smart. I had a similar experience a while back—barely tapped someone's car in a parking lot, no visible damage at all. Thought nothing of it until the other driver called me days later claiming their alignment was off. Luckily, I'd taken a few pics from different angles showing everything was fine. It's weird how minor bumps can suddenly turn into big deals later... better to cover yourself just in case.

- Honestly, I'm still on the fence about reporting something that minor. I mean, insurance companies are quick to jack up your premiums even for tiny stuff... feels like a lose-lose sometimes.
- But your story does make me reconsider a bit. Never thought about alignment issues popping up days later from a tiny bump—sounds kinda sketchy to me, but I guess stranger things have happened.
- I'm new to this whole insurance thing, and part of me wonders if reporting every little tap is just playing into their hands. On the other hand, covering yourself with a quick photo or two seems like a no-brainer. Better safe than sorry, right?
- Had a buddy who lightly bumped someone once, no visible damage either, and the other driver tried claiming a cracked windshield later. Luckily, my friend had snapped a pic clearly showing the windshield was fine. Saved him a huge headache.
- Guess the lesson here is: trust no one, document everything, and hope you never have to use it. Man, adulting is exhausting...
