Been thinking about my old Honda lately, it's pushing 12 years and has some dents and dings already. I'm still paying collision/comprehensive coverage, but honestly wondering if it's just money down the drain at this point. Curious how everyone else decides when it's time to drop it...like is there a certain age or mileage you go by, or do you just wing it based on how beat-up your car looks? Quick poll below:

When do you usually ditch collision/comprehensive?
- Around 5-7 years old
- Around 8-10 years old
- Only when the car is basically worthless
- Never, too risky

Yeah, I've been there. Had an old Subaru that was pushing 14 years and still had full coverage on it. Then one day I did the math and realized I was probably paying more in premiums than the car was even worth. Dropped it and never looked back...but I admit, for a few months afterward every parking lot felt like a minefield, lol. Guess it depends how much peace of mind is worth to you.
