Yeah, I just went through this myself. First-time buying insurance, and honestly, the fine print was a nightmare. Turns out I had roadside through my credit card too, but when I checked, the towing limit was like 10 miles or something ridiculous. Ended up sticking with AAA anyway since I drive out of town pretty often. But seriously, it's crazy how much overlap there is...feels like they count on us being lazy and not reading stuff closely. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed.

Been there myselfβ€”years ago I discovered my insurance had roadside assistance bundled in, but the coverage was super limited, kinda like your credit card deal. Learned the hard way after a breakdown 50 miles from home... AAA's pricier, but worth the peace of mind for longer trips.

Honestly, roadside assistance bundled with insurance always feels like a half-measure to me. AAA's been solid, but has anyone tried other standalone services like Better World Club? Curious if they're actually competitive or just marketing hype...

I've actually had decent luck with roadside bundled into my insurance. Last summer, I got a flat tire in the middle of nowhereβ€”typical, right? Called up my insurance's roadside number expecting the worst, but they had someone out within 40 mins. Honestly surprised me. AAA's great, but sometimes standalone services feel like paying extra for peace of mind you might already have covered elsewhere. Haven't tried Better World Club yet though...maybe they're worth it if you're eco-conscious or something?

- Had roadside bundled with my insurance for years nowβ€”never regretted skipping AAA.
- Honestly, AAA feels like paying twice for something you might already have. Sure, they have perks, but how often do you really use those hotel discounts or whatever?
- Better World Club sounds interesting if you're into the eco-friendly angle, but personally, I'm just trying to keep my wallet from crying every month.
- Had a similar flat tire situation last winterβ€”insurance roadside showed up in about 30 mins, no fuss. Wasn't expecting much, but they got the job done quick.
- Bottom line: check your policy first before shelling out extra cash. Most of us probably have decent coverage already and don't even realize it...
