Yeah, I totally get where you’re coming from. AAA used to feel like a sure thing, but lately it’s hit or miss. I tried one of those app-based services once—honestly, not much faster, but at least you can track the driver. Still, it’s frustrating paying for peace of mind and getting a waiting game instead. Hang in there... sometimes it’s just luck of the draw.

Yeah, I feel you. I’ve had a couple close calls where I really needed fast help, and waiting around just made things worse. It’s weird—sometimes they’re quick, sometimes it’s hours. Guess it’s just the gamble now. Hang in there, you’re not alone.

That’s exactly how it’s felt for me lately. I had a flat tire last winter and figured, “Hey, AAA will be here soon.” Ended up waiting almost two hours in the cold. But then, a few months later, my battery died at the grocery store and they showed up in like 20 minutes. No rhyme or reason.

Do you think it depends on where you are or the time of day? I’ve wondered if it’s just bad luck or if they’re stretched thinner than before. I remember years ago it felt more consistent, but now it’s like rolling the dice every time. Have you tried calling ahead or using their app? Sometimes I feel like the app gives better updates, but maybe that’s just me hoping for the best.

Either way, yeah, you’re definitely not alone. It’s frustrating when you’re stuck and just need someone to show up.

Honestly, I’ve noticed the same thing. Sometimes it feels like you’re just at the mercy of whatever’s going on that day. I do think location plays a part—my friend in a smaller town says she waits way less than I do in the suburbs. The app’s been hit or miss for me, too. I keep wondering if it’s worth the cost now, especially with how unpredictable it’s gotten. But then again, when you really need it, it’s still better than nothing... right?

Same here. Last winter I waited almost two hours for a jump, and I’m in a pretty busy area. Kinda makes you question paying for it every year, but then I remember the one time my battery died in the middle of nowhere and it saved me. It’s a toss-up... I guess it depends on how often you end up needing it.
