Okay, quick poll time...when your kid started driving, did you add them to your existing insurance or set them up with their own policy? Um, trying to figure out what's best (and cheapest, lol).

Honestly, cheapest isn't always best when it comes to insurance. My parents added me to their policy at first, thinking it'd save money...but after one tiny fender-bender (not even my fault!), their rates shot up like crazy. Might be worth looking into separate coverage—yeah, it seems pricier upfront, but at least your own premiums won't skyrocket if your kid makes a rookie mistake. Just something to consider...
