Bundling with USAA never really worked out for me either, especially after I got dinged for a couple minor accidents. The “discount” basically vanished once my record wasn’t spotless. I’ve had years where splitting up auto and home with different companies actually saved me a chunk. It’s like the system only rewards you if you’re already low-risk. I still check every renewal too—loyalty doesn’t seem to pay off in this game.
