Had a close call last month when some guy rear-ended me at a stoplight. Turns out he had no insurance - like zero, nada. Luckily, I'd added uninsured motorist coverage to my policy last year (honestly, almost skipped it to save a few bucks, whew). My insurance covered everything, repairs and even the rental car. Felt like winning a mini lottery, you know? Curious if anyone else had a similar close call or felt relieved they had this coverage after an accident...
