Totally relate to this. I’m all for digital, but the reality is tech fails just as often as paper gets lost or trashed. I once had my phone die right after an accident - talk about bad timing. Had to dig for the paper backup, which was barely readable from sun-fade. In my experience, digital is faster when it works, but paper is still the ultimate fallback. I do wish cops were more consistent about accepting digital though; seems like a coin toss half the time.
