Had a minor fender bender last week (ugh, my luck lately...) and now dealing with the insurance company. Thing is, I got two options for communicating with the claims adjuster: phone calls or email. Honestly, I'm torn.
Phone calls seem quicker—like you can get answers right away, clarify stuff immediately, and maybe even build a bit of rapport so they actually care about your claim. But then again, there's no record of what was said unless you're recording it yourself (which feels kinda sketchy tbh).
Email, on the other hand, gives you that nice paper trail. You know exactly what's been said and when. But waiting for replies can be frustrating as heck sometimes. Like, hello... anyone there? Plus, tone gets lost in emails and misunderstandings happen more easily.
I dunno, maybe I'm overthinking this whole thing. Curious how others handle this—phone or email? Which do you prefer and why?
