Good points about mileage tracking—it definitely depends on your lifestyle. I mostly commute short distances, so mileage discounts saved me quite a bit. But yeah, if you're spontaneous with trips, it can backfire pretty fast... learned that the hard way too, haha.

Mileage discounts sound tempting, but honestly, I found them a bit too restrictive. Had one of those trackers once—thought I'd save big, but ended up stressing every time I wanted to take a random weekend drive. Not worth the anxiety for me personally...

Yeah, I totally get where you're coming from. I've seen plenty of folks go for those mileage trackers thinking they'll save big, but honestly, the stress factor is real. Insurance companies love to market these discounts as easy savings, but they rarely mention the anxiety of constantly watching your odometer. Still, some people swear by them—guess it depends on your driving habits and personality. Personally, I'd rather pay a bit more and keep my weekend drives stress-free... life's stressful enough already.

I feel you on the stress thing, but honestly, I've been using one of those trackers for a while now and it's not too bad. I commute daily anyway, so my mileage is pretty predictable. If you're cautious about your driving patterns, it can actually save you decent cash...just gotta know yourself, I guess.

Yeah, that's pretty much my experience too. I've been using one of those trackers for about six months now, and honestly, it's made me way more aware of my driving habits. A few things I've noticed:

- I'm definitely braking smoother now—no more sudden stops at yellow lights (well, mostly).
- It made me realize how often I used to speed slightly without even noticing. Now I'm more mindful of speed limits, which probably isn't a bad thing overall.
- The savings aren't huge, but they're noticeable enough to make a difference when you're on a tight budget.

The only downside I've found is that sometimes it feels a bit restrictive, like someone's always watching over your shoulder. But if you're already a cautious driver, it's not a huge adjustment. Curious if anyone else noticed their driving habits changing significantly after using these trackers?
