"Bundling was decent for me too, but have you tried raising your deductible slightly?"

Honestly, bumping up the deductible isn't always a safe bet... seen a few folks get burned by surprise expenses. Ever thought about defensive driving courses instead? Usually cheaper upfront and less risky overall.

Defensive driving courses are solid, but check if your insurer actually gives discounts for them first. Mine didn't, unfortunately... ended up saving more by tweaking coverage limits slightly instead. Just gotta crunch the numbers carefully before committing.

Honestly, tweaking coverage limits makes me a bit nervous... sure, it saves cash upfront, but if something happens, you might regret it big-time. Defensive driving courses might not always score you discounts (bummer yours didn't), but they can still pay off by helping you dodge accidents altogether. I took one last yearβ€”thought it'd be boring as heckβ€”but actually learned some useful stuff. Plus, fewer close calls mean fewer panic-induced coffee spills in my car... that's gotta count for something, right?

Haha, totally relate to the coffee spill thing... my passenger seat still has battle scars from a latte incident. I was skeptical about defensive driving too, but honestly, it made me way less jumpy behind the wheel. Worth it just for the peace of mind alone.

Defensive driving definitely helps with nerves, but curiousβ€”did anyone notice an actual drop in their insurance premiums after taking the course? Heard mixed things about how much it really saves you...
