Last weekend, my car decided to die on me in the middle of nowhere. Had to call a tow truck, and man, the bill was NOT pretty. Got me thinking about roadside assistance plans—I've always skipped them thinking I'd save money just paying as I go, but now I'm not so sure. Has anyone else done the math on this or had a similar experience?
