Had a minor fender bender last year, and my insurance rates jumped way more than I expected. Did some digging around and found a few things that helped get the premiums back under control. First, I shopped around and compared quotes from other companiesβturns out loyalty doesn't always pay, go figure. Then I bumped up my deductible a bit, which lowered the monthly payments noticeably. Also took a defensive driving course online (boring but worth it). Curious if anyone else has found better tricks or shortcuts to keep costs down after a claim?
