Had a fender bender a few months back - totally my fault, unfortunately. Thought my insurance rates would go through the roof, but after chatting with my agent and taking a defensive driving course, they barely budged. Anyone else had luck keeping rates down after a claim?

You're lucky! I've had more than my fair share of "oops" moments behind the wheel (let's just say my insurance agent knows me by first name now...). But honestly, being proactive really helps. After my last mishap, I shopped around a bit, bundled policies, and even installed one of those tracking apps - yeah, kinda creepy at first - but it knocked a decent chunk off my premium. So yeah, there's hope even for us high-risk folks.
