Been seeing a ton of ads lately about how bundling home and car insurance can save you money, especially with Nationwide. I'm kinda skeptical though...like, is it actually worth switching everything over just to bundle? Anyone here done it recently and noticed a real difference in savings or convenience? My current setup is fine but, you know, saving a few bucks never hurts. Curious if it's legit or just marketing fluff.

I switched to bundling about a year ago, mostly because I was curious if the savings were legit. Honestly, it did shave off a decent chunk from my monthly payments, but it's not like life-changing money or anything. Convenience-wise, it's nice having one login and one renewal date, but you gotta weigh that against the hassle of switching everything over. Also, make sure you compare coverage apples-to-apples—sometimes the bundled deals look better because they're subtly cutting corners on coverage limits or deductibles...just something to watch out for.

Good points about checking the fine print on bundled deals—coverage details can definitely slip under the radar. I've seen folks jump at a lower premium only to realize later their deductible shot up or certain protections got trimmed back. Curious if anyone here's had to file a claim after bundling...did the process feel smoother, or was it pretty much business as usual?

Haven't had to file a claim yet (thankfully), but I did notice when my parents bundled theirs, customer service seemed quicker. Maybe companies prioritize bundled customers? Or it could've just been luck...anyone else notice this?

I bundled my home and car insurance about two years ago when I switched providers (went with Progressive, not Nationwide). Honestly, the savings weren't huge—maybe around $150 a year—but it was enough to cover gas for a couple weekend road trips, so no complaints there. Haven't had to file a claim yet, but managing everything in one place definitely simplified things. Can't say if customer service improved, though...seems about the same as before.
