I started screenshotting everything after my last request “disappeared.” Not paranoid—just learned the hard way.
Honestly, I don’t think it’s paranoia at all. Documentation is just smart, especially when HR systems can be so inconsistent. I’ve had clients lose coverage because someone “forgot” to process a form—same principle. But do you think this is more about company culture or just bad management? Sometimes I wonder if it’s intentional or just sloppy processes...
