Glad you found a better deal through your union—honestly, people overlook those perks way too often. And yeah, roadside assistance can be hit or miss...seen plenty of clients stuck waiting hours. Good call checking the fine print now, saves headaches later.

Yeah, union perks can be a hidden gem sometimes. Just curious, did you double-check if the roadside assistance covers towing distance or limits on service calls per year? I've seen some folks surprised when they hit those caps. Had a client once who thought he was covered for unlimited tows...until he wasn't. Definitely worth clarifying upfront—better safe than sorry later on.

Good point about checking those limits—I hadn't thought of that. Does anyone know if unions typically renegotiate these perks annually, or are they pretty much set long-term? Might be worth keeping an eye on changes down the road...

From what I've seen, union perks don't usually change that often. My dad was in a union for decades, and I remember him mentioning how some benefits stayed exactly the same for years. But then again, every now and then they'd surprise everyone with a sudden tweak—usually after contract negotiations or leadership changes. So yeah, it's good to keep an eye out, but I wouldn't stress too much about annual shifts... they're usually pretty stable.

- Interesting point about stability... makes sense they'd keep perks consistent to avoid confusion.
- But I'm curious, do unions typically notify members clearly when these rare tweaks happen, or is it more like you gotta dig through newsletters and fine print?
- I'm still pretty new to all this, and honestly, keeping track of changes feels a bit overwhelming sometimes...
