Randomly found out today that some companies actually negotiate deals with insurance providers to get their employees cheaper rates. Like, apparently being employed at certain places can get you a decent discount on car or home insurance. Had no clue this was even a thing until my coworker casually mentioned she's paying way less than me for the exact same coverage, just because she signed up through our workplace. Kinda blew my mind, honestly. Curious if this is common knowledge or if I'm just late to the party...
