Bundling definitely helped us out, but I totally get the worry about hidden limits. I ran into a weird one last year—our “full coverage” didn’t include glass repair, which felt like a cheap move. Ended up paying out of pocket for a windshield chip. Anyone found a company in Delaware that doesn’t nickel and dime you on stuff like that? Or is it just the norm everywhere?

- Been there—Delaware insurance can be rough, especially with a couple of tickets on your record.
- Noticed some companies (like GEICO) offer glass coverage as an add-on, but it’s rarely standard.
- Shop around for local agents; sometimes they can swing better deals or find smaller carriers with fewer exclusions.
- Read the fine print, every time. “Full coverage” is basically code for “not really everything.”
- Haven’t found a carrier that truly covers it all without some catch, but State Farm was a bit less picky for me, even after a claim.
- Honestly, nickel-and-diming seems pretty standard, but persistence helps.

That’s the truth—“full coverage” is one of those phrases that sounds reassuring until you actually need it. I’ve seen folks surprised by what’s not included, especially with glass or rental. Persistence really does pay off, though. I’ve had clients who kept digging and eventually found a local agent who could bundle in some extras for less than the big names. It’s a hassle, but sometimes those smaller carriers are worth a look.

Had a similar experience last year—thought I was set with “full coverage” until a deer hit my car and I found out roadside assistance wasn’t included. Ended up switching to a smaller local company. They actually explained every line item, which was a first for me.

That’s honestly the underrated perk of going local—someone actually walks you through the fine print instead of just tossing you a “full coverage” label and calling it a day. But I gotta say, “full coverage” is one of those terms that gets thrown around way too loosely. It’s like ordering a “combo meal” and finding out fries cost extra. Always ask what’s *actually* included... roadside, rental, glass, all that jazz. The devil’s in the details, especially in Delaware where deer seem to have a personal vendetta against cars.
