My car insurance renewal just came in and it's honestly ridiculous. I mean, I get it, everything's expensive these days, but this feels like highway robbery. I've been with the same company for years, never had an accident or anything serious, yet the price keeps creeping up. I'm thinking maybe it's time to shop around or something, but honestly, I don't even know where to start.
Has anyone else in CT found a decent way to cut down their insurance costs? Maybe some hidden discounts or companies that aren't as obvious but still reliable? I heard someone mention bundling home and auto, but does that actually save much or is it just marketing fluff? I'm open to any ideas at this point because I'm tired of feeling like I'm throwing money away every month.

Bundling can actually help quite a bit, at least it did for me. Have you checked if your current company offers a loyalty discount or defensive driving course discount? Sometimes they're hidden unless you specifically ask...
