Just came across this local news piece talking about how car insurance rates in Connecticut are apparently all over the place lately. Seems like some companies are hiking prices big-time, while others are actually dropping them a bit. Honestly, I'm kinda skeptical about the whole "dropping prices" thing...like, when does that actually happen?? 😂
Anyway, they mentioned a few companies by name that supposedly offer better deals right now, but idk if that's just marketing or what. I've been with my current insurer for a couple years now and haven't really shopped around much. Maybe I should? Curious if anyone else saw this story or has noticed their own premiums jumping around lately. Is it worth switching every year or two to chase the lowest rate, or is that just too much hassle...
