"Honestly, wasn't as fiddly as I expected...and now it's second nature."

Had the same reaction myself. Thought it'd be another hassle, but after my card got skimmed at a gas station, virtual cards became my go-to. Safer shopping, fewer headaches, and doesn't cost extra—win-win.

Same here, thought it'd be a pain at first too. But after a sketchy ATM ate my card on a road trip last summer, virtual cards saved my sanity. Did you find the setup pretty straightforward?

Yeah, setup wasn't too bad for me either. Funny you mention road trips—I had a similar scare when my card got flagged at some random gas station in the middle of nowhere. Virtual cards definitely eased my paranoia after that...

Virtual cards are handy, but honestly, I still prefer cash on road trips—especially when I'm driving my classic. Gas stations in remote areas aren't always tech-friendly, and cash never gets flagged or declined... just my two cents.

Cash is solid for sure, but honestly, I wouldn't ditch cards completely. If you're worried about fraud, just keep a prepaid debit card loaded with a limited amount—say $100–$200—as backup. That way, if your main card gets compromised, you're not stranded. Learned this trick after my card got skimmed at some sketchy gas station in the middle of nowhere... lesson learned the hard way.
