WHY DOES PAYING MONTHLY COST MORE THAN PAYING ANNUALLY?

- It bugs me too, especially when the “processing fee” is just a few clicks on their end.
- I get that there’s some risk for companies, but sometimes it feels like they’re just stacking on fees because they can.
- With classic car insurance, I’ve noticed the monthly payment difference can add up to a couple hundred bucks over a year. Makes you wonder if the extra cost actually reflects risk or just boosts their profit margins.
- Has anyone ever tried negotiating those fees down? Or is that a lost cause with bigger companies?
