Honestly, the paperwork is a nightmare, especially when you’re driving something expensive. I got paranoid after my first fender bender and started keeping a folder in my glovebox with every doc I could think of—insurance info, registration, even a pen and some blank paper for those on-the-spot diagrams (which always look like a toddler drew them).
I do think they get a bit more suspicious if you’ve had more than one claim. My adjuster started double-checking everything the second time around. Not fun, but I get it, I guess. Still, the process feels like a test you didn’t study for half the time.
