I'm finally getting my own car (yay freedom!) but now I'm stuck in the maze of car insurance options. Like, do most people just go for the cheapest possible or is it worth paying extra for more coverage? Um...I made a quick poll to see what you guys usually prioritize when picking your insurance:

- Cheapest monthly payment possible
- Best customer service/reputation
- Comprehensive coverage (better safe than sorry)
- Whatever my parents/friends recommended

Curious to see how everyone else decided, cause honestly I'm kinda lost right now.

When I first got my car, I went for comprehensive coverageβ€”felt safer knowing I wouldn't be financially ruined if something serious happened. But honestly, after a couple years without incidents, I started wondering if maybe I'm paying too much... It's tricky balancing peace of mind with budget constraints. Did you already check how much the difference is between basic and comprehensive? Sometimes it's surprisingly small, making the extra coverage worth it.

I went through something similar when I got my first classicβ€”went comprehensive because, well, she's my baby and all. But after a few years of smooth sailing, I started second-guessing too. Then one day, a tree branch decided to introduce itself to my hood... suddenly comprehensive felt worth every penny.
