Yeah, moving to a quieter area definitely helps with insurance. When I moved out of the city, my rates dropped noticeably tooβ€”felt like a nice little bonus. And you're right about Audi repairs; had a buddy who owned one, and even minor fixes made his wallet hurt. About the gas thing though...I've tried premium in my Honda, didn't notice much difference myself. Maybe it's more noticeable in performance engines like yours? Either way, glad you're saving some cash on insurance now.

- Totally agree on the quiet area thingβ€”had the same experience myself when I moved outta town.
- Premium gas didn't do much for my old Toyota either, honestly think it's mostly marketing hype unless your engine specifically calls for it.
- Good call ditching the city stress and saving some cash though...win-win.

Yeah, same here. Tried premium for a month in my Civic just to see if I'd notice any differenceβ€”nada. Felt like tossing money down the drain, honestly. Regular gas does the trick just fine.

Moving out of the city definitely has its perks though, especially insurance-wise. My rates dropped noticeably when I moved out to a quieter suburb. Less traffic, fewer accidents...makes sense. Curious if anyone noticed a big difference in their commute times after ditching city life? Mine got longer mileage-wise, but weirdly enough, I'm spending about the same amount of time on the road because there's way less stop-and-go.

Had almost the exact same experience when I moved outside Little Rock. My daily drive went from about 8 miles in bumper-to-bumper traffic to around 20 miles cruising on open roads. Weirdly, it takes roughly the same amount of time...just feels way less stressful. Plus, noticing my mpg went up slightly without all that idling. Did anyone else track fuel efficiency changes after moving?

Had a similar thing happen when I moved out near Fayetteville. My commute went from about 10 miles of stoplights and crawling traffic to around 25 miles of smooth highway driving. Noticed my old Mustang actually runs cooler now without all that idling in traffic jams. MPG improved slightly too, but honestly, the biggest perk is just enjoying the drive againβ€”windows down, radio up, way less stress...makes a huge difference.
