I've noticed something similar, but from a slightly different angle. I drive a pretty standard Toyota Corolla—nothing fancy—but even then, AAA seems less efficient than they used to be. Last time I called them for a battery jump, the tech seemed puzzled by the newer battery setup my car had. He eventually got it sorted, but it took longer than I expected. It made me wonder if the issue isn't just luxury or specialized vehicles, but maybe modern car tech in general? Cars today—even budget-friendly ones—are packed with electronics and unique setups that might require more specialized knowledge than traditional roadside assistance typically provides. Maybe AAA and similar services need to update their training or equipment to keep up with evolving vehicle technology. Has anyone else had experiences where even standard vehicles seemed to stump roadside assistance lately?

Yeah, had a similar thing happen with my Civic recently. AAA guy spent like 15 mins just staring under the hood, mumbling about sensors and battery covers. Eventually got it going, but made me think they're def falling behind on new tech...

Haha, sounds familiar... had a guy scratching his head over my Subaru's push-start once. Felt like I was teaching him! Guess we're all learning together with these newer cars.

Haha, did he do that confused stare at the dashboard too? Had a similar moment with my hybrid—guy kept asking ME questions. Makes me wonder, are we paying AAA or training them these days...?

Haha, seriously. Last time I called AAA, the guy spent more time scratching his head than fixing my flat. He actually asked ME if I knew the right PSI for my tires—like, isn't that your job? I mean, I appreciate the effort, but shouldn't basic car knowledge be a given? Makes me think twice about relying on them next time I'm stranded...
