Yeah, I totally get that perspective...I've had my share of minor taps too, and usually just exchanged info without bothering the police. But honestly, since upgrading to a pricier car, I've become a bit more cautious. You never know when someone might flip their story later on. It's annoying, sure, but having an official report can save you headaches down the line. Better safe than sorry, I guess.
