I get where you're coming from, but honestly, sometimes driving exactly at the speed limit can feel riskier than going with the flow of traffic. I commute daily on a busy highway, and I've noticed that sticking strictly to the posted limit often means cars are constantly weaving around me or tailgating aggressively. A few months back, I tried being super cautious after hearing about a friend's insurance nightmare (similar to yours), but it felt like I was creating more hazards than avoiding them.

Now, I'm not saying speeding is the answer—definitely learned my lesson after one ticket—but maybe there's a middle ground? Like matching the general pace of traffic without pushing it too far. Defensive driving courses are great for insurance discounts, sure, but real-world driving seems to require a bit more flexibility. Just my two cents...
