Had something similar happen last year—kept getting vague "incomplete documentation" notices. Turned out they wanted a detailed repair estimate, but nobody bothered to mention it upfront. Did they at least specify what's missing, or still playing guessing games?

- Had a similar runaround with my insurance a couple years back—super frustrating.
- They kept saying "missing documentation," but never clarified exactly what was missing until I called multiple times.
- Eventually found out they needed clearer photos of the damage and a mechanic's detailed breakdown.
- Might be worth calling again and politely insisting they specify exactly what's incomplete.
- Hang in there, insurance companies can be annoyingly vague sometimes...but persistence usually pays off.

Had a client once who went through something similar—insurance kept saying "incomplete docs," but wouldn't clarify until he practically cornered them on the phone. Turns out they just needed a clearer VIN photo... ridiculous. Sometimes I wonder if it's intentional or just poor communication internally. Did they at least give you a specific person or department to follow up with, or are you stuck in general customer service limbo?

- Honestly, I doubt it's intentional... insurance companies are bureaucratic nightmares, paperwork gets lost or misfiled all the time.
- Had a similar issue once; turns out the agent entered my VIN wrong by one digit. Took days to sort out, total headache.
- Best bet is always to bypass general customer service and ask directly for claims or underwriting. Usually gets you someone who actually knows what's up.

Totally agree with this. A couple things I'd add from my own experience:

- Document everything. Dates, times, names of people you spoke with... it can really help if things drag on or escalate.
- If you're not getting anywhere with the insurance company directly, consider looping in your state's insurance commissioner or regulatory board. They exist exactly for situations like this and can sometimes speed things up.
- Also, double-check your policy wording carefully. Sometimes claims get denied due to misunderstandings about what's actually covered.

Had a friend whose claim got denied initially because the adjuster misunderstood the circumstances of his accident. Once he clarified (with photos and a detailed explanation), they reversed their decision pretty quickly.

Good luck—hope it gets sorted soon.
