Honestly, I’ve had the “both are missing” nightmare more than once. Last time I needed my insurance card, my phone was dead and the paper copy was stuck to an old granola bar wrapper. Not my finest moment. I try to keep digital updated, but half the time I forget the password. Paper’s great until life happens—kids, snacks, random spills. At this point, I just cross my fingers and hope at least one survives the chaos.
