Had my doubts about Farm Bureau at first, but honestly, if they're taking the time to understand your camper setup, that's a good sign. Numbers aren't everything—sometimes it's worth paying a bit extra for peace of mind on the road.

Good point about peace of mind, especially with campers. Have you checked how each company handles claims specifically for RVs or campers? I've heard mixed things about State Farm's responsiveness when you're stuck somewhere remote... Curious if Farm Bureau has a better track record there. Anyone have experience filing a camper-related claim with either one?

Peace of mind definitely counts for a lot, especially when you're miles from anywhere. Haven't had a camper myself, but I remember a buddy who swore by Farm Bureau after his camper got sideswiped in some tiny town out west. Said they were pretty responsive and straightforward on the claim. But then again, might vary by state or even local office, right? Wonder if anyone else had the opposite experience...

I've never personally dealt with Farm Bureau, but I've had State Farm for years and they've been decent enough. Had a fender bender a couple years back—nothing major, just a parking lot scrape—but they handled it pretty smoothly. That said, my brother-in-law had a totally different experience. He got rear-ended out in Colorado, and State Farm dragged their feet for weeks before finally sorting it out. Could've just been a bad adjuster or local office, who knows?

Honestly, I think you're onto something about it varying by state or even by the local agent. Insurance companies are so hit or miss depending on who's handling your claim. Might be worth checking reviews specifically for your area or even chatting up a local agent to get a feel for how responsive they are.

Yeah, you're pretty spot-on about it varying by location and agent. One thing I'd add is to look closely at how each company handles claims processing—some insurers outsource their adjusters, which can slow things down or lead to inconsistent experiences. Farm Bureau tends to have a more localized approach, often with agents who know the area well. State Farm's usually solid, but like you said, one bad adjuster can really mess things up. Definitely worth digging into local reviews before deciding.
