Been with my current insurance company for a few years now, and honestly, I'm starting to feel like they're taking me for granted. Premiums keep creeping up, and customer service has been kinda meh lately. Had a minor fender bender last year (totally not my fault, I swear!) and the whole claims process was a headache and a half. So yeah, I'm thinking it's time to shop around.
I've heard good things about a few companies like Erie and Farm Bureau from coworkers, but figured I'd check here too. You know how it isβsometimes the flashy ads don't really match up with reality. I'm looking for something that's affordable but also reliable when you actually need them. Like, I don't wanna be stuck on hold for an hour or arguing over every little detail if something happens.
Also, if anyone has experience with smaller local companies versus the big national ones, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Is it worth going local for better service, or do the big guys usually have better rates and coverage?
Anyway, throw your suggestions my way. I'm all ears.
