Totally see your point. I used to think temp insurance was just an upsell, but then my brother borrowed my car for a weekend road trip and hit a pothole—blew out two tires. Having that coverage saved us both from some tense family dinners...lesson learned the easy way.
Yeah, that's interesting...but does temp coverage usually include tire damage like potholes? I always assumed it was more for accidents or theft. Maybe I've been missing out on some hidden perks there.
Had a similar thought myself... I once hit a nasty pothole downtown, totally wrecked my tire and rim. Checked with my temp coverage at the time—no luck. But policies vary, so might be worth double-checking yours just in case.
