Tried temporary insurance coverage—worth it or waste of money?

Couldn't agree more about road trips. I once rented a car for a long weekend trip and almost skipped the temp insurance, thinking it was just an upsell. But then I remembered how unpredictable highways can be—especially at night or in bad weather. Glad I opted in, because even though nothing happened, knowing I was covered took away that nagging worry in the back of my mind. And yeah, good call on the fine print...some policies have sneaky exclusions you'd never expect.
